I bet that many of you think that these updates are coming straight from Melissa and Mike and although that is partially true, there is more to the story. I feel kind of sneaky keeping you all in the dark so I’ll formally introduce myself. I am Melissa’s sister-in-law Beth. You can find me below in the great Sanborn family photo here:

I have had the great pleasure of getting to know Mike and Melissa well enough for them to trust me posting on their blog. If you know me, you know that this could be a little dangerous as I am a bit of a loose canon. Comments anyone?
Basically, I put together posts written by Melissa and Mike — which are easy to identify because, sadly, I am not a chemist. I will also write on other topics like recipes, local farmers and markets and sustainability issues. Follow us on the facebook and twitter as I will try to find even more tidbits to share. We are looking forward to getting bio’s up of all those who are a part of the team so you can get a picture of the whole project at work.

I always want to read what Beth has to say! Yes, loose canon, but an informative and fun gun! I look forward to more and possibly sharing in a harvest experience!
